We are pleased to announce the Colleyville Baseball Association will be hosting a USSSA ALL-STAR sanctioned tournament MAY 27-MAY 30.. All participants will earn USSSA points and the championship winners will earn a berth.  NO AA OR NON ALL-STAR TEAMS WILL BE PERMITTED.

How to Sign Up
The Colleyville Baseball Association has a tradition out selling out early so please get your registration in as soon as possible. As in previous years, the CBA will not require a coaches meeting

Brackets will be posted 48 hours before the tournament and the rules will be the standard USSSA tournament rules, with any exceptions clearly stated on the tournament bracket page.

CBA USSSA ALL-STAR TOURNAMENT Game Rules

1. Each coach must provide two (2) new "game quality" baseballs for each game. ...
2. Follow USSSA Texas Rules in all respects.
3. All teams must provide proof of insurance at the tournament registration desk BEFORE the start of the first pool game.
4. All teams should have copy of their legal USSSA roster with player birth certificates. This documentation must be available upon demand for any or all games.
5. Each team should be prepared to start games up to 15 minutes early in the event that fields become available because of earlier "run rule shortened games".
6. The Colleyville Baseball Association will provide pitching and score cards to registered teams for each game. Please check in with the registration desk at least 30 minutes before the start of your scheduled game.
7. Maximum game time length is 1 hour, 15 minutes for 6U, 7U and 8U games.
8. Maximum game time length is 1 hour, 30 minutes for 09U and 10U games.
9. Maximum game time length is 1 hour, 40 minutes for all 11U and up games.
10. All championship games will be subject to time limits and run rules.
11. No infield practice for any teams.
12. No opening ceremony.
13. Closing ceremony shall include the award of trophies by the Tournament Director or a designated CBA representative
    (commissioner, board member or other appointed individual).
14. Pool play can have a tie. The game will be split between the visiting and home teams with 1/2 point each (or .5)
15. No ties in elimination games. The modified California Tie-Breaker Rules applies if an elimination game ends with a score tied. The game shall continue using a modified California Tie-Breaker Rule until a winner is detemined at the end of the next, fully completed inning.

    Modified California Tie-Breaker Definition:

    • Each half inning will start with the bases loaded and one (1) out.
    • Each team will continue the batting order from the previous inning
    • With the three(3) previous batters occupying the bases
    • With the last batter occupying 1st base
    • Wit the second batter occupying 2nd base
    • The 3rd batter occupying 3rd base

     

16. For any other questions, follow USSSA rules.
17. Game Reporting - Scores are reported by the umpires after the coaches have signed the completed score card.
